Over my four years serving as photographer & social media lead for Illinois State University’s three hockey teams, I got to develop my storytelling and leadership skills.
I created and updated graphics for social media platforms, culled through and edited photos, highlight clips, and hype videos.
I lead a new group of interns each season after interviewing and selecting appropriate candidates during the off-season with my team. I delegated tasks including gameday operations, live social media coverage during home games for each team, and creating a weekly posting and content schedule curated for each team.
I also assisted in gameday operations such as special lighting, overseeing guests at games, selling merchandise, and communicating with visiting teams and rink staff.
